Consumer Product Testing Company, Inc. was incorporated in 1975 as a private contract testing laboratory. CPTC initailly provided toxicological services to the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, personal care, chemical and household product industries.
In response to our clients' ever increasing needs, Consumer Product Testing Company, Inc. expanded its capabilities to include: analytical chemistry services, clinical safety, efficacy, claims validation, photobiology, microbiology, sterility testing and in vitro toxicology testing services.
We are located in Fairfield, New Jersey in a 45,000 square foot facility. Our laboratories are equipped with cutting edge equipment and methodologies enabling CPTC to offer both routine and advanced research services to clients.
REGULATORY NEWS
On October 18, 2011 FDA concluded an intensive, 5-day general GMP inspection and two product Pre-Approval Inspections of CPTC. We are pleased to announce that no FDA Form 483 non-conformance observations were issued at the conclusion of this inspection. This is our second consecutive GMP inspection without any Form 483 non-conformance observations. We are extremely proud of this record of achievement and will continue to provide the highest level of service at the highest level of regulatory compliance to each of our valued Clients.
